Great location, close to the Newark Penn Station, therefore you could easily get PATH or NJ trains or even catch an Amtrack for the Northeast Corridor. A quiet place to live, great WIFI connectivity, friendly staff during check in and out. A shuttle is provided in case you have lot's of luggage. Good price/quality ratio. The room was very nice and super comfortable, probably renewed recently. European-style shower in the bathroom (detachable).

The room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. Hotel has a great location for those who don't want to pay so much to stay in NJ/NY area. Very close to Newark Penn Station and the hotel offers a shuttle. The hotel's restaurant offers buffet breakfast for $18 and dinner a la carte. We didn't get a change to try lunch.

Proximity to EWR & Newark Penn Station, comfort of the 2 Queen beds room, clean, spacious room with 2 comfortable Queen beds, comfortable/convenient bathroom, proximity to eating establishments, complimentary airport and Penn Station shuttle, courteous, professional and helpful front desk and shuttle staff.

We wanted a place near Newark airport and NY for a few days for a fair price. And we had it. The transfer worked for us twice and was very fast. The train station is fairly close and it was safer than expected. PATH works well for WTC and SEC to MSG. Price / size of the room was much better than what you can find in Manhattan. It was a good choice.

My room was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. I loved the location. Within walking distance to arts and entertainment, restaurants, shops and Penn station to get to NYC. Comfortable and clean accommodations. Lovely staff, kind and helpful. Art deco decor gives character to the experience. Restaurant and bar on site good menu, great food and service. Breakfast was complete not just continental breakfast. Lastly, I was able to store my luggage after I checked out of my room, at a gracious 12 noon check out time. Lastly, the free airport shuttle is a huge plus.

The hotel and room were really nice, clean and stylish. I would definitely recommend staying here IF you have some sort of “business” in Newark (e.g. an event at Prudential, which is within walking distance). Newark is not exactly what I would call a “charming” town, and the general area is a bit sketchy. The staff were not particularly friendly (but from what I hear, that’s Jersey for you…), though they DID answer any question I had (they just make you feel that you need to be “apologetic” for “bothering” them…). Major plus - the cleaning crew came daily and even restocked shampoo/ shower gel, etc. Another major plus- the hotel has a shuttle that will take you to Penn Station (Newark). I would definitely stay here again if I came to the area, though it’s a shame that Newark isn’t exploiting its top strategic location close to Manhattan (20-minute Amtrak ride!!) and “cleaning up” the town a bit.

The room was clean and organized. It was on the first floor, close to the hotel entrance and restaurant. It had good service, a table, and a mirror. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfy.

We booked this hotel because it was much cheaper than staying in NYC for NYE. The location is convenient for the rail station (10 mins to Newark Penn station, 20 mins to Newark Broad street) and there are regular trains, even in the evening and early hours. The facilities were good and staff were helpful.
